Working together in Grantable

Grantable is built for teams. Whether you’re a two-person shop or a larger grants department, the collaboration features help you work together without stepping on each other’s toes.

Workspaces

Workspaces are the top-level containers for your grant work. Each workspace has its own files, projects, chats, and team members. Use separate workspaces for different organizations, clients, or major program areas.

Roles

Every workspace member has one of four roles that control what they can do:

Role	What they can do
Admin	Full control — manage settings, billing, team members, and all content
Editor	Create and edit files, start chats, manage projects
Commenter	View all content and leave comments, but can’t edit files or create projects
Viewer	Read-only access to files and projects

Key features

• Inviting teammates — Add people to your account by email. They get a link to join your workspace with one click. See Inviting Teammates.
• Comments — Leave threaded comments on files and documents. Tag team members with @mentions to notify them. See Comments & Mentions.
• Notifications — Get notified about comments, @mentions, deadline reminders, and scheduled task completions. See Notifications.
• File sharing — Share files internally with workspace links, externally with public links, or directly via email. See File Sharing.
• Dashboard — See all your team’s projects, deadlines, and assignments in one place. See Dashboard.

Tips

• Assign workspace roles thoughtfully — editors for active contributors, commenters for reviewers, viewers for stakeholders who need visibility.
• Use @mentions in comments to draw specific team members’ attention to items that need their input.
• Set up your notification preferences in Settings so you get the updates that matter without the noise.
