Us Coast Guard Academy
ORGANIZATION SHALL RAISE FUNDS TO PROVIDE "MARGIN OF EXCELLENCE" SUPPORT FOR THE CORPS OF CADETS (PRESENT DAY STUDENTS) AS COAST GUARD OFFICERS AND CIVILIAN EXMPLOYEES ARE PROHIBITED BY THE LAW FROM SEEKING FUNDS BEYOND WHAT IS APPROPRIATED BY CONGRESS. THE ASSOCIATION IS A 501(C)(3) AND ALSO SERVES TO PRESERVE TRADITIONS AND ENHANCE THE REPUTATION OF THE ACADEMY AS IT CARRIES OUT THE ABOVE FUNCTIONS.
