THE ORGANIZATION IS ORGANIZED EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE FOSTERING OF AMATEUR SPORTS COMPETITION. THE UPPER MIDWEST ATHLETIC CONFERENCE SHALL HELP MEMBER INSTITUTIONS PROMOTE AND DEVELOP COLLEGIATE ATHLETIC PROGRAMS AND PROVIDE CONSISTENT COMPETITION OPPORTUNITIES FOR MEMBER INSTITUTIONS AND THEIR STUDENT-ATHLETES.
