THE UNITED FOOD AND COMMERCIAL WORKERS UNION LOCAL 880 SCHOLARSHIP FUND ANNUALLY AWARDS UNDERGRADUATE COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS IN THE AMOUNT OF $500 TO $2,000 PER RECIPIENT TYPICALLY PAYABLE IN ANNUAL INSTALLMENTS OF $500 EACH. THE TRUSTEES ARE AUTHORIZED TO PERMIT DISTRIBUTION OF THE $2,000 AWARD IN DIFFERENT INSTALLMENTS IF THE CIRCUMSTANCES WARRANT. THE SCHOLARSHIP FUND TRUSTEES MAY ALSO INCREASE OR DECREASE THE NUMBER OF SCHOLARSHIP GRANTS, OR THE DOLLAR AMOUNT OF THOSE GRANTS, AS THEY DEEM APPROPRIATE. THESE SCHOLARSHIPS ARE GIFTS, NOT LOANS.AVAILABILITY OF THE SCHOLARSHIP GRANTS IS PUBLICIZED IN THE UNION NEWSPAPER AND ON THE UNION'S WEBSITE.
