THIS IS DONE THROUGH DIRECT SUPPORT OF THE UNITED STATES OLYMPIC AND PARALYMPIC COMMITTEE THAT, IN TURN, REGULATES AND SUPPORTS MEMBER SPORTS ORGANIZATIONS THAT DEVELOP AMATEUR ATHLETES FOR NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION.
