THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE SEATTLE TIMES COMMUNITY IMPACT FUND IS TO DISTRIBUTE FUNDS TO ORGANIZATIONS, EXEMPT UNDER SECTION 501 (C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE, FOR THE ORGANIZATIONS' USE IN AIDING NEEDY FAMILIES AND/OR INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE MEMBERS OF THE SEATTLE COMMUNITY.
