To educate and train residents of North Minneapolis and beyond about sustainable horticulture practices and to promote health and economic opportunity within traditionally disenfranchised communities by establishing community gardens. These community gardens will become living classrooms for community members especially youth and young adults to learn about nutrition and agriculture-related professions participate in mentorship programs and provide gateways to economic opportunity within the food distribution system. Additionally we will address related issues like environmental and climate concerns that impact gardening and agriculture while providing jobs and a pathway to generational wealth building.
