THE PURPOSE OF THE CORPORATION SHALL BE TO ENGAGE IN AND CONDUCT CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES, PHILANTHROPIC AND OTHER RELATED VOLUNTEER SERVICES OF THE MEMBERSHIP ON A STRICTLY VOLUNTARY AND SUPPORTIVE BASIS, NONPROFESSIONAL AND NON-ADMINISTRATIVE, TO [CONT'D ON SCH. O] THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE HOSPITAL OR THROUGH THEIR DESIGNEE. IT IS THE EXPLICIT INTENT OF THE GUILD TO SUPPORT ST. TAMMANY PARISH HOSPITAL'S VALUES AND STANDARDS, BOTH INSIDE AND OUTSIDE OF THE HOSPITAL. THE PURPOSE OF THE GIFT SHOP IS TO PROVIDE AN ON-CAMPUS LOCATION WHERE FAMILY MEMBERS AND FRIENDS OF PATIENTS CAN PURCHASE GIFTS AND "GET-WELL" ITEMS.
