THE PURPOSE OF THE FTI IS TO ESTABLISH AND MAINTAIN JOINT APPRENTICESHIP AND VOCATIONAL TRAINING, EDUCATION AND RETRAINING PROGRAMS AND TO ENSURE THAT ALL TRAINING AND APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMS THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA ARE MAINTAINED AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF QUALITY.
