OUR MISSION IS TO SERVE OUR COMMUNITY, ONE FAMILY AT A TIME, BASED ON THEIR INDIVIDUAL NEEDS. BAIS CHESED OF LOS ANGELES WILL ACCOMPLISH THIS THROUGH MOBILIZING A COMMUNITY NEWTWORK OF VOLUNTEER EFFORT AND FINANCIAL SUPPORT.THE PURPOSE OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO SERVE THE LOS ANGELES JEWISH COMMUNITY WITH THREE DIFFERENT DIVISIONS:MISASKIM - SERVING THOSE MOURNING LOVED ONES BY SUPPLYING BASIC NEEDS FOR THE SHIVA HOUSE.KEHILLA FUND - A CHARITY FUND FOCUSING ON HOUSEHOLD EMERGENCY NEEDS.LOAN FUND - PROVIDING INTEREST FREE LOANS TO COVER SPECIFIC FAMILY NEEDS TO THOSE WHO QUALIFY.
