PROMOTE THE COMMON GOOD AND GENERAL WELFARE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI AND ALL MISSISSIPPIANS BY ORGANIZING, PLANNING AND IMPLEMENTING THE 2024 INAUGURATION FOR LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR-ELECT FOR THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI AND IN FUNDING ANY UNBUDGETED COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH HIS PREPARATIONS TO PROMPTLY ASSUME AND CARRY OUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF SUCH OFFICE. THE CORPORATION MAY RECEIVE AND INVEST PROPERTY, AND MAY APPLY THE INCOME AND PRINCIPLE THEREOF AS ITS BOARD MAY DETERMINE THROUGH DIRECT EXPENDITURES OR CONTRIBUTIONS TO OTHER TAX-EXEMPT ENTITIES ORGANIZED EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHARITABLE, EDUCATIONAL, CIVIC OR SOCIAL WELFARE PURPOSES.
