Philip Deng: Welcome, Grantable friends! I’m Philip Deng, co-founder and CEO. Today, I'm chatting with Evan Rallis, our powerhouse Head of Product and Growth. Evan, what’s the latest with you?

Evan Rallis: Hey Philip! I’ve been trying new workouts—which means I’m pretty sore but feeling more productive by staying put.

Philip Deng: We both seem to be on the kettlebell journey now! But let’s talk about your role. You’re essentially obsessed with making Grantable the best experience for grant professionals, right?

Evan Rallis: Definitely. My goal is to make Grantable incredibly useful for our users, ensuring it's the most efficient tool for grant-seeking. It’s all about understanding our users and advocating for them.

Evan Rallis: Beyond the simple saying that "teamwork makes the dream work," our collaborative culture truly sets us apart. We’re in a startup, which means flexibility in how we work together. This culture is something unique to Grantable and a personal favorite of mine in my startup experiences.

Philip Deng: And that culture translates into the tools we create for our users. Speaking of tools, what are you most excited about releasing?

Evan Rallis: Without giving away all our secrets, we’re crafting an ecosystem where all parts of grant-seeking can interconnect seamlessly. It’s an exciting frontier for making grant work both efficient and enjoyable.

Bringing intellect to the AI landscape

Robert Lee: Hi everyone, I’m Rob Lee, CTO and co-founder. We’re focusing on structuring the grant process intelligently. Our goal is to let users manage opportunities, relationships, and processes in a streamlined fashion—a GRM, if you will.

Philip Deng: That’s a game-changer! You’re using a mix of large language models to always deliver the best results, right?

Robert Lee: Exactly. We integrate various AI models to harness their strengths for specific tasks. This makes Grantable versatile and powerful for our users.

Design meets user experience

Marie Zhang: Hey—Marie Zhang here, head of research and design. We're reimagining user onboarding to make starting with Grantable as intuitive as possible. It’s all about balancing guidance with flexibility.

Philip Deng: AI is everywhere today. How do you see it shaping design and user interaction?

Marie Zhang: AI can be deeply integrated into workflows, enhancing efficiency. But it's crucial to use it strategically, complementing human creativity rather than replacing it.
